Gorillas
Matto Barfuss is doing a long-term study about the last mountain-gorillas since 2002. At the moment there are just maximum 700 individuals left. Matto narrates the stories of some of the families. He accompanied as filmer also the famous Rugendo family in the East Congo which was killed on the 22nd July 2007.
Matto Barfuss build up the most comprehensive personnel archives of photos and film-material in HD about the mountain-gorillas. He made the film "Living with Gorillas" and the historic film "The Journey of the Gorillas" about the Rugendo family.
Please contact us, if you are interested to become a licensee for the films or the books "The last Dance of the Silverback" and "Among Gorillas". The revenues for the licenses will partly be used to finance the "Matto Barfuss Wildlife Fund" which produces and distributes a children book about the gorillas for the children in the gorilla regions free of charge.
